1. What is the registration fee and is it refundable?
A one-time registration fee of ₹1,000 is charged when joining the Academy. This fee is non‑refundable, even if you stop attending later.
2. How do I pay monthly tuition fees?
Monthly tuition fees are collected in advance, to be paid on or before the 5th day of each month. Late payments or missed deadlines may lead to removal from the rolls.
3. What if I have to skip a lesson?
If the Academy cancels the class due to trainer unavailability, they’ll reschedule. However, if a student misses the class, it will be marked as absence and no refund will be provided.
4. Can I take multiple courses?
Yes, students may enroll in multiple courses (e.g. Sarangi + Vocal), subject to class and teacher availability.
5. Are there prerequisites for advanced courses?
Yes. Students must clear the course prerequisites or undergo an Academy-led assessment before joining any level beyond the beginner 101 courses.
6. Is there an age limit or voice requirement?
Not at all! Admission is open to all ages and voice types—as long as there’s passion and regular practice. Study materials and virtual format (OM Book™) help even beginners progress.
7. How long does my registration remain valid if I pause studies?
If you take a break from music and leave the Academy, your registration remains valid for 3 months. After that, a rejoining fee of ₹500 applies.
8. Do students need to arrange instruments?
Students learning Sarangi must arrange their own instrument. The Academy will offer guidance and help them acquire one if needed.
9. Can I join classes on public holidays?
The Academy operates Monday to Saturday. Holiday schedules will be displayed on the Academy notice board and must be checked in advance.
10. What happens if I withdraw due to discipline or poor attendance?
The Academy reserves the right to remove a student for long-term irregular attendance or disciplinary issues. All related decisions are final.
11. What types of class formats are offered?
The Academy offers both offline and online classes, covering classical vocal, instrumental courses, and world music formats.
12. Will new instruments or courses be added in the future?
New offerings are periodically added based on demand. Additional courses may include movie songs, folk music, or instruments like the tabla or violin based on interest.
